FC Cincinnati Announce Roster for 2023 Preseason

After two weeks of training at Mercy Health Training Center, FC Cincinnati have kicked off the Orange and Blue’s 26-day preseason camp in Clearwater, Fla.

FC Cincinnati’s traveling roster to the preseason stint in Florida includes four players signed with FC Cincinnati 2 and multiple unsigned players.


Below is a look at the traveling roster:

2023 FC Cincinnati Preseason Roster:

Goalkeepers (5): Roman Celentano, Alec Kann, Hunter Morse^, Evan Louro, Paul Walters

Defenders (11): Joey Akpunonu, Santiago Arias^, Álvaro Barreal, Isaiah Foster, Ray Gaddis, Nick Hagglund, Brett Halsey^^, Matt Miazga, Ian Murphy, Alvas Powell, Kai Thomas^^

Midfielders (10): Luciano Acosta, Salim Adams^^, Marco Angulo, Jesús Castellano^^, Stiven Jimenez, Yuya Kubo, Junior Moreno, Obinna Nwobodo, Malik Pinto, Harrison Robledo

Forwards (5): Dominique Badji, Brenner, Arquimides Ordoñez, Sergio Santos, Brandon Vazquez

Roman Celentano and Brandon Vazquez will join the team in Clearwater at the conclusion of the USMNT January Camp in Southern California.

FC Cincinnati will play preseason friendlies against four MLS clubs: Austin FC, Philadelphia Union, the New England Revolution and Nashville SC, as well as against the University of South Florida. All matches will be closed-door, with the exception of the match against Philadelphia Union, which will be open to the general public at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex. Additional opponents may be added.

Wednesday, Feb. 1 – vs USF

Friday, Feb. 10 – vs Philadelphia Union

Tuesday, Feb. 14 – vs New England Revolution

Friday, Feb. 17 – vs Nashville SC (Al Lang Stadium); Return to Cincinnati

Feb. 21-24: Training at Mercy Health Training Center

Saturday, Feb. 25: 2023 MLS Season Opener vs Houston Dynamo at TQL Stadium

2023 Season Tickets, which include all 17 regular season matches and both Leagues Cup Group Stage matches, are also on sale now at fccincinnati.com/tickets. 2023 Single Match Tickets will go on sale Thursday, Jan. 26 in an exclusive presale for Season Ticket Members. Single Match Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan. 27.
