Nashville SC to Play Four GEODIS Park Matches in 21 Days Beginning Sat. vs. SJ Earthquakes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville SC returns to Music City Saturday to host the San Jose Earthquakes at GEODIS Park at 7:30 p.m. CT in the first of four home matches during the next 21 days. Tickets for the match that will serve to celebrate the club’s Greener Goals efforts, a Major League Soccer-wide initiative to raise awareness for environmental issues, can be found here .

Here are five things to know for Saturday’s match, available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and on Nashville SC’s flagship station 104.5 the Zone .

1. The Boys in Gold have faced off against San Jose just three times since joining MLS in 2020, resulting in three draws and three goals scored by each side. Nashville SC midfielder Hany Mukhtar has two tallies, with forward Teal Bunbury netting the other. The last time the clubs met was September 23, 2023, a 1-1 draw at San Jose’s PayPal Park.

2. Saturday’s match begins a run of five games in 21 days for the Boys in Gold, including four games at GEODIS Park. After hosting the Earthquakes, Nashville SC hosts CF Montréal on May 4 before traveling to North Carolina to face Charlotte FC on May 11. The team then returns home to host Toronto FC on May 15 and Atlanta United FC on May 18.

3. For the second time in its five-year MLS history, Nashville SC is facing off against all three California MLS squads in one season. In March, the Boys in Gold hosted the LA Galaxy at GEODIS Park and traveled to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles to face LAFC. The last time Nashville SC faced all three California sides occurred in 2022 when the club was a member of the Western Conference.

4. Original Boy in Gold Aníbal Godoy began his MLS career with the Earthquakes before being acquired by Nashville SC prior to the team’s inaugural 2020 season. The Panamanian international made 101 regular season appearances and one playoff appearance for San Jose from 2015 to 2019, tallying five goals and seven assists. With Nashville, Godoy has made 94 regular season appearances and six playoff appearances, scoring three goals and notching nine assists.

5. Nashville SC got a key piece of its midfield back last Saturday in Ft. Lauderdale when Randall Leal made his season debut. Leal, who subbed into the match against Inter Miami CF in the 85 th minute, had been out since suffering a hip injury on international duty for Costa Rica in January.
