Kansas City Current Signs Free Agent Midfielder Bayley Feist Through 2025

KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City Current have signed midfielder Bayley Feist to a two-year contract through the 2025 season. Feist comes to Kansas City as an unrestricted free agent from the Washington Spirit.


“Bayley will be a great addition to the team,” said general manager Camille Ashton. “Her technical ability combined with the toughness she plays with make her a great asset for the club. We look forward to having her in Kansas City.”

“We’re very happy Bayley chose to come to Kansas City,” said head coach Vlatko Andonovski. “She is a crafty midfielder with great experience in this league. She will fit well with the style of play we are working to develop.”

Drafted with the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft, Feist was a standout at Wake Forest University. She appeared in all 78 games of her collegiate career and started every match her junior and senior seasons. Her 22 goals ranked among the Top 10 all-time goals scored for Wake Forest.

Feist made her professional debut on May 4, 2019 against Reign FC. She had 38 appearances for the club with 18 starts and 1,873 minutes played.
