New York City FC News Release

New York City FC is excited to share a first look at one of the most exciting features of the new stadium – what we’re currently calling the Supporters Porch. This part of the stadium is designed with amenities that we’re confident will contribute to what will be the best fan experience in the MLS! As you’ll see from the renderings and the video, it will include:

– A dedicated celebratory entry for our supporters, featuring a mural that will be designed in conjunction with our Supporters Groups, which will take you right up to the special part of the stadium called the Supporters Porch

-The 9,000+ square foot Supporters Porch will be large enough to accommodate 1,200+ fans before, during and after our games and includes a dedicated tap bar, various food offerings, seating and a large 400 square foot LED display. This outdoor bar and gathering area will be unique in New York City sports and can be used for events on matchdays and non-matchdays

– Inside the bowl, more than 3,400 safe-standing positions, which will be one of the steepest in MLS, meaning that our passionate supporters will be right on top of the goal across the whole north end of the stadium. 3 ‘capo’ stands and a drum platform will help to create an incredible atmosphere and give our boys in blue the best home field advantage in the league.

– A roof canopy covering more than 90% of the north stand, which will be built and designed in a way that will enable our supporters to hang the incredible Tifos that have become synonymous with our matches
