Leicester City star Youri Tielemans has been slammed for his performances this season after his side the Foxes slumped to a goalless draw against Crystal Palace.

The Belgian midfielder has struggled to capture his best form this season as the Foxes are currently battling in the relegation zone, having only won one game in the Premier League this season.

In the summer, Tielemans has had interest from top sides in the league such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, but no move came to fruition as he is in the last year of his deal at the King Power Stadium.

After the game against Palace, pundits on BT Sport have urged the midfielder to get back to his best in order to help his side get their season back on track.

Robbie Savage told BT Sport: ‘You remember what he did in the FA Cup final. We haven’t seen that Tielemans, he can influence games but he’s not doing it as much as he would like.’

Joe Cole added: ‘This is a player who has been looked at by some of the top clubs so he will be thinking I’m a Champions League player but you need to perform like a Champions League player, you need to perform in all situations. Maddison’s levels have not dropped.
