Man Utd priced out of move for France star, may move on from De Jong

Christopher Nkunku celebrates scoring for RB Leipzig.

It’s almost like selling clubs know Man Utd are rich, daft and desperate, with RB Leipzig and Barcelona both taking advantage of the Red Devils. But first, there’s bad news for one of last summer’s biggest movers…

INTER INTEREST IN LUKAKU WANING
One report suggested on Monday that Romelu Lukaku ‘doesn’t want any other solution other than Inter’ and the Chelsea flop will ‘get on his knees’ to secure a move back to the San Siro. Today, it seems like he might have to.

Because HLN in Belgium reckons Inter’s interest in re-signing the striker may be cooling. A deal was always going to be tricky since Chelsea will be looking for the best possible terms, whether it be a loan move or a permanent one.

The Telegraph says Antonio Conte is ready to bring Richarlison to the capital, with Everton insisting on £50million to sell their star striker.

The Independent says Leipzig have slapped a £100million price tag on the 24-year-old, which looks set to end Manchester United’s interest for now. Arsenal and PSG, though, may not be deterred.

RED DEVILS MAY MOVE ON FROM DE JONG
‘Any news on Frenkie De Jong?’ you ask…

Not really. The Manchester Evening News says United and Barcelona remain in talks over the Holland international but the two clubs remain apart in their valuation of the midfielder.

Reports in Spain suggest Barca could be asking for £85million while United remain adamant they won’t overpay for De Jong. If Barca don’t budge soon, then the Red…
