Real Madrid complicate Liverpool deal for ‘scary’ Jude Bellingham that would set new transfer record

Liverpool would need to break their transfer record to sign England ace Jude Bellingham, though a report has revealed how Real Madrid are complicating the matter.

Bellingham can already stake a claim to being one of the world’s finest midfielders despite being just 18 years old. The ex-Birmingham City prodigy is already a regular with Borussia Dortmund and has 11 England caps to his name.

But for the superb Declan Rice-Kalvin Phillips partnership that anchored England so well at Euro 2020, Bellingham would already be a sure-fire starter with the Three Lions.

Following his latest commanding display against Ivory Coast, fellow England ace Jack Grealish labelled Bellingham’s ability as “scary”.

Dortmund are fully aware of the generational talent they have in Bellingham. As such, varying reports over the past few months have suggested they won’t sell for less than €100m.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the Englishman, along with Chelsea to a lesser extent.

A move to Anfield is something Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is known to desperately crave.

However, German outlet Bild now explain why a Liverpool deal could be disrupted by Real Madrid.
