NCFC and Courage TST Teams’ Groups and Schedules Revealed

CARY, N.C., – The Soccer Tournament, the $1 million, winner-take-all, 7v7 world championship, today announced the group pairings and schedules for NC Courage and North Carolina FC as a part of its official women’s and men’s field reveals for the event at WakeMed Soccer Park from June 5-10.

TST’s eight-team women’s field is split into two groups of four teams. The Courage will headline Group B, which also includes Burnley FC, SoccerHead FC, and Tampa Bay Sun FC.

The Courage will begin group play against Burnley at 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday, June 7. Later that day, their second group stage game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET against Tampa Bay Sun FC. Their final group stage match will be against SoccerHead FC on Saturday, June 8 at 7 p.m. ET. All of the NC Courage group stage games will be available to stream at thetournament.com.

The top two teams from each women’s group will advance to Sunday afternoon’s semifinals, with the winners advancing to the inaugural $1 Million women’s championship game on Monday, June 10, at 7 p.m. ET, broadcast on ESPNU.

The men’s field is split into 12 groups of four teams. NCFC will headline Group J, which also features Villarreal, Como 1907, and City Soccer Society.

NCFC will begin group play against Villarreal at 11:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 5. Their second group stage match will take place that evening against City Soccer Society, kicking off at 8 p.m. ET. Their last group stage game, against Como 1907, is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at 1 p.m. ET. All three of NCFC’s group stage games will be available for streaming at thetournament.com.

The top two teams from each group and the eight third-place teams with the highest point totals (32 total teams) will advance to the knockout stage, which will commence on June 7. Round of 16 and Quarterfinal games will both be played on Saturday, June 8. Semifinals will take place on the evening of Sunday, June 9, and the $1 Million Championship Game at 8:30 p.m. EST on Monday, June 10 on ESPNU.
