Langford, BC – Pacific Football Club takes on Valour FC of Winnipeg in the club’s second home match of the CPL season. This match is dedicated to youth soccer on Vancouver Island with representation from clubs throughout the region taking part in match activities. Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s match:

Match Day Story Lines

A Milestone for Young: Friday night’s match will commemorate Sean Young’s 100th career appearance with Pacific FC. Young signed his first pro contract with Pacific in 2020. A product of the youth soccer system in Victoria, Young represented Bays United Football Club, the Vancouver Island Wave Program and the Victoria Highlanders. He is the first local player to make the jump to the CPL.

KDL is back!: Fan favourite, Kunle Dada-Luke, will be back this Friday looking to make an immediate impact. KDL is a dynamic force in attack, while also being able to produce incredible recovery tackles. Trident fans are excited for his return to play at Starlight Stadium in front of a home crowd.

Vamos!: Pacific FC signs central defender, and Colombian youth international, Juan Quintana for the 2024 season. The 20-year-old hails from Palmira, Colombia, and will join the backline for the Tridents. He will add a blend of youth and experience from playing in Columbia’s first and second divisions.
