ATLANTA – Atlanta United returns to action Saturday when it hosts Minnesota United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, while fans can also tune-in to radio calls on 92.9 The Game and La Mejor.

Atlanta holds an all-time record of 3-1-0 against Minnesota in MLS play since both teams joined the league in 2017: 1-1-0 at home and 2-0-0 on the road. This is only the fifth MLS meeting and the first since 2019 when Atlanta defeated the Loons 3-0 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta enters the weekend tied for the fewest goals conceded in MLS with nine and is coming off its third clean sheet of the season in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Chicago.

The team ranks first in MLS in crosses into the penalty area as the fullbacks and wingers continue to create chances from the flanks. The team has produced 42 successful crosses from the right side, which also ranks first in MLS.

Atlanta is the only club with two players who have recorded 20 or more key passes this season in Brooks Lennon (24) and Thiago Almada (23).

Through nine matches, Atlanta has generated 19.53 expected goals, which ranks fourth in MLS. The team’s conversion rate on clear-cut chances of 80 percent ranks third in MLS, trailing only Real Salt Lake (88.33 percent) and San Jose (81.25 percent).
