The fixture is Seattle’s third in its quest for the 2024 Cascadia Cup. The Rave Green sit in second place in the standings with three points, while Whitecaps FC occupies first place with six points. Portland is in last place with zero points. All three teams have played two Cascadia Cup matches so far.

ALUMNI OF THE MATCH – KELYN ROWE

In honor of Seattle’s 50th anniversary this year, the team is honoring a club alumni at every home match, with Saturday’s match featuring midfielder Kelyn Rowe. The Federal Way native joined Seattle in 2021, playing three seasons for the club before retiring from professional soccer following the 2023 season. After appearing in every match throughout the regular season and playoffs in 2021 for Seattle, he helped the Rave Green win the 2022 Concacaf Champions League, making eight appearances throughout the tournament and scoring one goal. Prior to his time in Seattle, the third overall draft pick in the 2012 SuperDraft made 252 MLS appearances, mostly with the New England Revolution.
