Philadelphia Union and the GIANT Company Announce Multi-Year Partnership

CHESTER, Pa. – Philadelphia Union today announced a new multiyear partnership with The GIANT Company, making GIANT the Official Grocery Store of the Philadelphia Union, Subaru Park, and the WSFS Bank Sportsplex. Under the partnership, The GIANT Company will hold the entitlement for a tailgate zone and private space of the soon-to-be-unveiled Union Yards and the GIANT logo will be placed on all player mascot t-shirts as well as partner on other fan-facing and community activations.

“As The GIANT Company aims to bring people together around the table, the Union works to bring fans from all walks of life together in our stadium,” said Charlie Slonaker, Chief Revenue Officer, Philadelphia Union. “In getting to know GIANT and their corporate values, we noticed immediately how strong our shared commitment to community is. We’re excited to welcome The GIANT Company to the Union family and look forward to what the partnership will bring.”

On home match days, GIANT will have branding and logo placement that is featured on field level and upper LED boards, a bench side field board, and prominent stadium signage. Additionally, its logo will be placed on all player mascot t-shirts, featured pre-match during the team’s procession on to the field. GIANT will also be the presenting partner of Military Appreciation Night on July 20 when the Union take on Nashville SC.
