Gotham FC Announces 2024 Preseason Roster

HARRISON, NJ – NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced the club’s initial preseason roster. The roster is comprised of four goalkeepers, ten defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards. Gotham FC has 20 players returning for the upcoming season, all of whom were a part of the 2023 NWSL Championship team.


The club had a very busy offseason acquiring five free agents, which includes U.S. Women’s National Team players Tierna Davidson, Crystal Dunn, Rose Lavelle, and Emily Sonnett as well as stand-out forward Ella Stevens.

Additionally, Gotham FC also acquired defender Sam Hiatt and goalkeeper Cassie Miller via trades from their previous clubs. Gotham FC’s 14th overall pick in the 2024 NWSL Draft – defender Maycee Bell – will also be participating in her first professional preseason camp.

The club will kick off preseason training at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and then will travel to Cali, Colombia to compete in The Women’s Cup Colombia.

Midfielders (7): Sinead Farrelly, Rose Lavelle, Nealy Martin, Yazmeen Ryan, Delanie Sheehan, Emily Sonnett, McCall Zerboni

Forwards (7): Crystal Dunn, Esther (INTL), Midge Purce, Taylor Smith, Katie Stengel, Ella Stevens, Lynn Williams

Reigning NWSL Champions Gotham FC will return to action for the Challenge Cup against the San Diego Wave on March 15. Tickets to the NWSL Challenge Cup are on sale now at GothamFC.com. NWSL Challenge Cup tickets are included in all 2024 Gotham FC Season Ticket Memberships.

Fans can register for the priority presale at GothamFC.com to be among the first to purchase home opener tickets, when they go on sale on Feb. 6.
