FLUSHING, NY – FC Dallas (4-3-2, 14 points) falls 3-1 to New York City FC (4-2-3, 15 points) on Saturday night at Citi Field.

SCORING STREAK CONTINUES

FC Dallas has managed to score at least one goal in its last eight matches after being shutout against Minnesota United FC on February 25. FC Dallas has also scored in its last five road games. The last time Dallas had a run of more than eight consecutive MLS matches while scoring at least one goal was a run of nine straight from July to September 2018.


FIRST MLS GOAL

FC Dallas defender José Martínez scored his first career MLS goal in the 77th minute of tonight’s match. Martínez is in his third season for Dallas and has played in 58 matches, starting 53, including tonight’s.

HALF A HUNDRED

When he entered the match in the 76th minute for Marco Farfan, defender Sam Junqua registered his 50th MLS appearance. Junqua is in his first season with Dallas after spending his first four MLS seasons with Houston Dynamo FC.
