CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Several Hoos made a mark in week two of the NWSL season from first appearances of the season to first goals of the year, it was a busy weekend for Virginia alums across the league.

ANGEL CITY FC
Megan Reid – Defender
Season Stats – GP-GS: 2-2 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 180
Megan Reid started on the back line and logged the full 90 minutes in a last-second win at Orlando over the weekend. Reid has played he full 90 minutes on the back line in both contests for Angel City this season.

GOTHAM FC
Sinead Farrelly – Midfield
Season Stats – GP-GS: 1-0 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 20
Sinead Farrelly saw her first action of the season when she entered in the 70th minute against OL Reign. It was her first action since the 2015 campaign. She logged 20 minutes in the outing.

Taryn Torres – Midfield – Out With Injury
Torres suffered a torn ACL in training camp and is out for the season as she rehabs the injury.

HOUSTON DASH
Diana Ordoñez – Forward
Season Stats – GP-GS: 2-2 • Goals: 1 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 6 • Minutes: 180
Ordoñez hit the game-winning goal for the Dash over the weekend, converting from the spot as she was taken down in the box and took the chance for Houston.

Courtney Petersen – Defender
Season Stats – GP-GS: 1-1 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 45
Petersen did not see action in week two and was listed as “questionable” on the weekly injury report (ankle).

KANSAS CITY CURRENT
Morgan Gautrat – Midfield
Season Stats – GP-GS: 0-0 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 0
Gautrat was put on the injury list prior to the season opener and did not see action for Kansas City in week two.

Alexa Spaanstra – Forward
Season Stats – GP-GS: 2-1 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 102
Spaanstra came off the bench in week two and logged 27 minutes for the Current in an outing against Portland.
