Real Madrid told midfielder 'has transfer pre-agreement' with fierce rivals

Real Madrid have been told one of their players has agreed to join one of their biggest rivals.

Midfielder Dani Ceballos, 27, has seen his future speculated in recent times after starting just two La Liga games all season.

Experienced at a high level, the Utrera-born star, after graduating from Real Betis’ youth academy moved to Arsenal on loan before returning to his Los Blancos parent club in 2021.

Dani Ceballos in line for shock transfer to Real Madrid rivals

However, now back in Madrid but frustrated by the lack of game time he is getting under Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish playmaker is expected to push for a summer transfer away from the Bernabeu.

Dani Ceballos could leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

And according to a recent claim from journalist Siro Lopez, who spoke to El Desmarque, Madrid’s number 19 has already held talks and reached a ‘pre-agreement’ with bitter-rivals Atletico Madrid — snubbing the opportunity for an emotional return to Betis.

Consequently, assuming Real Madrid will put up a fight and feel reluctant to strengthen a direct rival, it would be fair to assume Atletico will need to make their cross-town enemies a transfer offer simply too good to turn down.

Since the start of the season, Ceballos, who has three years left on his contract, has managed just one goal in 22 games in all competitions.
