Mason Greenwood is set to face trial over allegations of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour in November 2023.
The 21-year-old Manchester United forward appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, where he was re-bailed ahead of a hearing on February 10, 2023.
A trial date was also set for November 27, 2023, with proceedings expected to last ten days.
Greenwood was granted bail in October this year under the conditions that he refrain from contacting any witnesses, including the complainant in this case, and he must reside at an address in Bowdon, Greater Manchester.
He was charged earlier in November following a breach of these conditions.
Greenwood has not featured in any capacity for United since he was first detained in January following allegations of the aforementioned charges.
