Brazilian wonderkid Endrick’s father will ‘travel to Madrid’ to ‘tour Real Madrid’s facilities’

Endrick's father Douglas Ramos (R) will make the trip across the Atlantic to visit Real Madrid

Father of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick will ‘travel to Spain at the end of this month to tour Real Madrid’s facilities’, with Los Blancos hoping to beat PSG and Chelsea to the 16-year-old’s signature and seal a 2024 move

  • Endrick’s father, Douglas Ramos, will make the trip to Madrid later in November
  • Real Madrid are not the only top European club interested in the wonderkid, 16
  • Endrick recently made his Palmeiras debut having scored 165 youth team goals

The father of Brazil’s latest teen sensation Endrick will travel to Madrid at the end of November, with a view to discussing a potential move to Europe for his son.

Douglas Ramos has stated that Real Madrid will then ‘await a response’ from the Brazilian’s representatives to see if they believe Los Blancos would be a good fit for the 16-year-old.

Having only made his debut in October, Endrick has already played seven professional games for Palmeiras, despite his age, scoring three and assisting one.

The purpose of Ramos’ visit to the Spanish capital has been reported by Brazilian outlet UOL as a tour of the club’s facilities and discuss any potential future move for his son.

He was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying: ‘We’ll travel to Madrid at the end of this month.

‘After that conversation, Real Madrid will await a response from us to see if they should come and make a bid to Palmeiras.’

Endrick would not be the first youngster to make the move across the Atlantic to play for Los Blancos, and can look to the examples made by several of his compatriots if he does choose to join Real.

Stars of the current side Vinicius Jnr and Rodrygo both made the switch at a young age – 16 and 17 respectively – and have now established themselves as arguably the club’s most important players this season.

However, due to registration rules, any transfer would not be made official until his 18th birthday although a deal can be struck between Real and Palmeiras before that point.
