Washington Set For Top-5 Matchup At Stanford

SEATTLE – No. 1 Washington hits the road for the final time this season as they travel to No. 5 Stanford on Sunday. Kickoff from Laird Q. Cagan Stadium is set for 4 p.m. and airing on Pac-12 Network.
 
The Huskies (13-0-2, 5-0-1 Pac-12) are off to one of the best starts of the season in program history. Following the 2-1 win at Cal, Washington matched a program record 15-match unbeaten streak to start the season, joining the 2013 squad.
 
THE LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies had another late-game thrilled as Ilijah Paul hit the game-winner in the 90^th minute as Washington outlasted California on Thursday, 2-1, in Berkeley.
 
PAC-12 TITLE CHANCES
With a win by Washington and a loss or draw by Oregon State on Sunday, the Huskies will clinch at least a share of the Pac-12 title.
 
UW-STANFORD HISTORY
The Huskies lead the all-time series against the Cardinal 39-22-6 and 21-12-6 in Pac-12 play. On the road, Washington leads 17-10-4.
 
Earlier this season, the two teams met in Seattle and Washington came away with the 3-0 victory over the Cardinal. Nick Scardina and Lucas Meek (2) scored goals in the contest.
 
STANFORD SCOUTING REPORT
Stanford sits at 9-2-4 on the season and a 3-2-3 mark in conference play. The Cardinal are coming off a 2-1 loss to Oregon State at home on Thursday night.
 
Shane de Flores leads the team with five goals on the season. Carlo Agostinelli and Fletcher Bank leads the Cardinal with five assists. Cam Cilley and de Flores lead with 12 points each with Agostinelli close behind with 11.
 
Goalkeeper Matt Frank is fourth in the conference with a 72.5% save percentage and second with six shutouts.
 
LEADING THE PAC
As a team, the Huskies are leading the conference in almost all statistical categories including assists per game (3.00), goal differential (+31), points per game (8.07), save percentage (81.6%), total assists (45), total goals (38), total points (121) and win-loss-tie percentage (93.3%).
 
Individual, Chris Meyers leads the Pac-12 in assists per game (0.64) and total assists (9), both are also within the Top-5 nationally. Ilijah Paul is the conference leader in total goals (10), goals per game (0.67) and shot accuracy (60.6%).
 
Senior Lucas Meek is the Pac-12 leader in points per game (1.73) and total points (26).
