Arsenal and Tottenham will finish inside the top four this season alongside Liverpool and Manchester City, according to Paul Merson.
The race to finish fourth went to the final day of the campaign in 2021/22.

With Manchester United better than they were last term, and Chelsea and Liverpool looking a lot worse, it promises to be a very intriguing battle to finish inside the Champions League places.
Manchester City, we can just assume are going to win the Premier League title for the fifth time in six years.
Besides the aforementioned ‘Big Six’, it is hard to imagine another top-flight side breaking into the top four this term.
Newcastle United’s time will come, but not yet.
Arsenal, Tottenham and City all operate the top three positions in the division, with the Gunners top with five wins and one defeat from their opening six fixtures.
Brighton are sitting pretty in fourth, with United, Chelsea and Liverpool behind them, in that order.
It is definitely hard to call the order of the top six, besides putting Pep Guardiola’s side first, of course.
Given Liverpool’s start to the season, they could feasibly finish sixth, which nobody would have expected before the season kicked off.
While I am clearly finding it hard to predict, everyone’s favourite pundit, Paul Merson, has gone out on a limb and confirmed to us all the four teams that will occupy first to fourth come May.
“It’s still early doors, but I think the Premier League top four this season will be Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in whatever order,” Merson wrote in his SportsKeeda column.
“Chelsea will obviously have a thing or two to say, but we’ll have to wait and see how [Graham] Potter performs at Stamford Bridge.
“As for Manchester United, I don’t think they’ll make it because they still have a lot of work to do in terms of their squad. They’ve won four league games in a row, including victories against Liverpool and Arsenal, but I’m yet to be convinced by them.
“Arsenal are good and I believe they are in there for the long run, while I’m still backing Liverpool to turn it around in the coming weeks to secure a UEFA Champions League spot.”
Merson was predicting this weekend’s Premier League action in his column.
