Dynamo Charities Cup Presented by PNC to Benefit Kids' Meals Houston

HOUSTON – The Dynamo Charities Cup presented by PNC will benefit Kids’ Meals Houston, the Club announced today. Kids’ Meals is an organization that works to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering free healthy meals, year-round to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration provide their families with resources to end the cycle of poverty.


The match will see Houston Dynamo FC face off against Liga MX’s Atletico San Luis at PNC Stadium at 7:30 p.m. CT, Saturday, June 11.

The Dynamo Charities Cup is an annual event bringing prominent international teams to Houston to raise money for charity. This year marks the 11th edition of the exhibition match and is the first Dynamo Charities Cup since 2018.

“We are thrilled to announce the return of the Dynamo Charities Cup,” Houston Dynamo President John Walker said. “Not only is this a great opportunity for the team to compete with a high-level opponent from LigaMX, it’s also for a great cause. Our Club takes great pride in the work that we do on and off the pitch – and being able to give back to the city that supports us through events like the Charities Cup makes an impact well beyond the playing field.”

In addition to receiving a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales, the Club will have numerous initiatives during the game that will go towards benefiting Kids’ Meals. There will be a limited number of mystery bags for fans to purchase that contain soccer balls signed by both individual players and the full team. There will also be an auction starting June 1 that will feature autographed items and on-field experiences through the DASH Auction app, while half of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will be donated to Kids’ Meals.
