Arsenal, Man City interest in Rafael Leao forces AC Milan into eye-opening contract decision over star

AC Milan star Rafael Leao

Portuguese forward Rafael Leao is reportedly a target for Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain – forcing AC Milan into a major contract decision.

Leao, who can operate as a left winger or at centre-forward, came through the Sporting Lisbon academy. He made just five appearances for the club, scoring two goals, before joining Lille on a free transfer.

Arsenal have held an interest in Leao for several months. They will need attacking reinforcements ahead of next season if Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah leave.

Football Italia come in with an update on his future, while citing Gazzetta dello Sport.

They state the transfer links have put Milan on alert. Club chiefs are now looking at ways to avoid a summer sale.

Their best bet is to tie the five-cap international down to a new contract. His current…
