‘No way back’ for attacker as pundit claims Everton will look to cash in this summer

Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell cannot see a way back for attacker Moise Kean and expects the club to cash in on the player this summer.

The Italy international is currently on a two-year loan at Juventus, who have an obligation to buy the 22-year-old at the end of his stay, after Kean failed to settle on Merseyside.

However, the Serie A giants landed highly-rated marksman Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window. And the arrival of the Serbian prompted a report from Calciomercato that the Old Lady wanted to end Kean’s loan and return him to Merseyside.

However, Campbell does not believe that will happen, telling Goodison News why he feels that way.

He said, when asked if Kean will return: “No not really. I think when you look at the situation with him. Obviously he was at PSG wasn’t he, then he goes to Juventus, it just hasn’t worked out at Everton for him.

“Now, what’s going to happen with Frank Lampard I don’t know, so I can’t really talk too much about that.

“But I don’t see [him coming back]. I think he’s more comfortable in Italy or abroad, but not in England.

“I think something will get done about moving Moise Kean on. Because look, he’s an asset isn’t he and they’ll get some money for him.

Everton need a revamp, not an overhaul but a revamp. And they’re going to have to move some pieces around to allow the manager to move and shake.”
