HOUSTON – The Houston Dash return to Shell Energy Stadium on Sunday to host the Kansas City Current for the first of four home games in May. This home stretch will feature matches against the reigning NWSL Champions plus the Portland Thorns and North Carolina Courage.
Houston is looking to build off a promising performance in Utah that gave Houston its second clean sheet of the 2024 campaign. Two new additions to the team made their debut in Utah and Sunday’s game will be the first opportunity for Dash fans to see the duo at Shell Energy Stadium.
Forward Ramona Bachmann, the Swiss international that joined the Dash from Paris St. Germain, earned the start in Utah and played 75 minutes. Additionally, veteran defender Paige Nielsen made her Dash debut after joining the team in a trade with Angel City FC on the transfer deadline day.
