Vancouver FC News Release

Langley, BC – Vancouver FC is set to host its Partner Appreciation Game, presented by Canucks Autism Network, on Thursday, Apr. 18 when the Eagles host Halifax Wanderers FC.

The match will serve as a way for Vancouver to announce, acknowledge and thank all the club partners who have joined the Eagles’ family at both a club and Canadian Premier League (CPL) level. These partnerships are essential to supporting the growth of VFC and the Canadian soccer landscape as a whole.

“We are very excited to showcase and thank our partners,” said Mark Marshall, Director of Partnerships & Hospitality, Vancouver FC. “It is through the support of these partnerships that VFC is able to succeed in growing the game locally and in Canada. They are an important part of our Eagle family and we are very excited to have them on board as we embark on our second CPL season.”

A few partners who will be featured in stadium on Apr. 18 includes Gold’s Gym, who will be hosting mini-competitions for fans to test their strength, TOCA Football, who will be running half-time entertainment, and Magic Scoop and Maple Lodge Farms, who will be providing giveaways to a few of VFC’s fans.

Vancouver is also excited to share details about the “Take Flight: Ticket Donation Program,” a newly-introduced give-back program for the 2024 season. Partners who participate in the “Take Flight” program will be providing an opportunity for disadvantaged youth, communities, and other charities to experience a VFC match through the donation of purchased tickets on the partner’s behalf. Any partners who wish to learn more information or enroll in the “Take Flight” program, please contact memberservices@vancouverfc.com.
