Utah Women’s Soccer’s Inaugural Big 12 Schedule Announced


KANSAS CITY – The conference schedule for the University of Utah women’s soccer team’s first-ever season of Big 12 play was announced on Monday and, for the Utes, it will consist of 11 total matches, five of which will be at home, including the program’s league debut, which will pit them against Arizona on Sept. 12 at Ute Field.
 
Utah’s first Big 12 road match is set for Sept. 19, when they’ll visit the Texas Tech Red Raiders, followed four days later by trip to Provo, Utah to square off with the BYU Cougars. Coach Hideki Nakada‘s club will return to Ute Field on Sept. 26 to host Iowa State before a Sept. 29 clash with Oklahoma State that will close out the team’s first month of conference competition.
 
October’s slate begins on the road against Arizona State, followed by an Oct. 10 meeting with Kansas and a matchup at Kansas State three days later. Utah closes out its home schedule by hosting Houston on Oct. 17 and Baylor on Oct. 20 before an Oct. 25 regular season finale at Colorado.
 
The 2024 Big 12 Women’s Soccer Tournament will be held at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City and will include all 12 teams, with the first round getting underway on Oct. 30. The tournament will consist of four total rounds, including the tournament final on Nov. 9. All the games will be streamed live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
