Foxborough, MA – Carolina Core FC fell to New England Revolution II, 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.

Sunday’s match marked CCFC’s second MLS NEXT Pro match and first matchup with New England Revolution II.

Goal-Scoring Plays

NEII – Malcolm Fry, 3rd minute: Malcolm Fry scores a header off of a corner kick. It was Malcolm Fry’s first goal of the season. Assisted by Jack Panayoutou.

CCFC – Pachittoo Polanco, 37th minute: Pachittoo scored a right-footed strike to the bottom left corner of the goal from outside the 18 yard box. This is Polanco’s 2nd goal in MLS NEXT Pro. Assisted by Facundo Canete.

NEII – Jack Panayoutou, 58th minute: Panayoutou scores a right-footed shot in the box, assisted by Malcolm Fry. This is Jack Panayoutou’s first goal of the season.

Pachittoo Polanco Scores His 2nd Goal in MLS NEXT Pro

Pachitoo scored his second goal of the MLS NEXT Pro season to equalize with Revolution II going into halftime. The former Barry University (Florida) striker received the ball from Facundo Canete outside the box and blasted a right-footed strike into the bottom left corner of the goal. Pachittoo leads the team in scoring, registering his third goal in all competitions.

Facundo Canete Registers His First Assist of the Season

Searching for an equalizer, midfielder Facundo Canete connected with Pachittoo to tie the game 1-1. Polanco made the most of the opportunity, netting a long-distance strike into the bottom left corner of the goal, giving CCFC a much needed equalizer. This was Canete’s first assist of the MLS NEXT Pro campaign.

Jeremiah White IV Makes MLS NEXT Pro Debut

Former Philadelphia Union Academy player Jeremiah White IV made his MLS NEXT Pro debut against the New England Revolution II. The Pennsylvania native started in his debut, playing at right wing back, where he showcased his technical ability, registering two key passes in his debut. The 17-year-old was lively throughout the game and showed a lot of promise in his first career game.
