The Boys in Gold are set to host a marquee-matchup against the Columbus Crew at GEODIS Park on Saturday, March 30th at 7:30 p.m. The reigning MLS Cup Champions are coming off of a 2-0 loss to fellow Eastern Conference side Charlotte FC.

Undefeated at home against the reigning champs – Nashville SC is undefeated against the Columbus Crew at home (1W-0L-1D). The first meeting took place at Nissan Stadium in 2021, with the Boys in Gold taking a 3-1 win over Crew at GEODIS Park last season. Nashville SC is also undefeated at home at GEODIS Park across all competitions this season.
International players return to the squad – Panamanian midfielder Aníbal Godoy and Canadian winger Jacob Shaffelburg have returned to Gary Smith’s squad after representing their countries in Concacaf Nations League and a Copa America play-in match respectively.
Opposition Player To Watch
Columbus poses threats all over the field, but look to their midfield at Saturday’s match. Darlington Nagbe, the legendary MLS midfielder who has won MLS Cup at every team he’s played for, is press resistant and composed on the ball. He will be dictating the play for the Crew when they visit the Boys in Gold and GEODIS Park.
