Gotham FC Announces Leadership Group for 2024 Season

HARRISON, NJ – NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced the Leadership Group for the 2024 season. The Leadership Group includes goalkeeper Michelle Betos, midfielder McCall Zerboni, defender Kelley O’Hara, forward Lynn Williams, defender Tierna Davidson, and forward Crystal Dunn.

The Leadership Group serves as a group of veteran players who were selected by their teammates to represent and lead the team on and off the field.

Michelle Betos

Betos is in her 12th NWSL season and her third season with Gotham FC. Last season, Betos was nominated by Gotham FC players for the Ally Award, which honors a player who embodies the spirit of the consummate teammate, inspiring rookies, and veterans alike.

McCall Zerboni

Zerboni has been in the league since it launched in 2012 and has been a part of four NWSL championships. Since joining Gotham FC in 2020, the midfielder has appeared in 74 matches, recording 60 starts, 5,123 minutes, six goals, and three assists.

Kelley O’Hara

Also a 12-year league veteran, O’Hara is in her second season in her return to the club. Last season, she started in eight matches and appeared in 13 matches in the regular season, recording 642 minutes. She also appeared in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the 2023 NWSL Playoffs en route to the club’s championship title.

Lynn Williams

Williams will also be entering her second season with Gotham FC. Last season, she led the team in goals with seven and is currently second all-time in league record books in goals (76). She appeared in all 2023 NWSL Playoff games and scored in the final to lead Gotham FC to its first NWSL title.

Tierna Davidson

In her first season with Gotham FC, Davidson made her NWSL debut with the club in the UKG Challenge Cup on Friday, March 15. She played the entirety of the match and won all her tackles. Last season, Davidson played for the Chicago Red Stars, where she started and appeared in 18 regular-season games and recorded 1,612 minutes.

Crystal Dunn

Dunn – also in her first season with Gotham FC – made her debut in Friday’s match, logging 32 minutes. Dunn most recently starred for the Portland Thorns from 2021-23. Last season with Thorns, she started 17 of her 19 regular season appearances, recording 1,311 minutes, scoring five goals, and adding two assists.

Gotham FC will face the Portland Thorns on Sunday, March 24 at Providence Park for the club’s first 2024 regular season match (7 p.m. ET, ESPN…
