Peter-John Falloon arrived in Coral Gables after nearly two decades of coaching experience, while also serving as a United States Soccer scout.

Most recently, Falloon logged a 57-40-20 overall record as head coach at Kean University in Union, N.J., guiding the Cougars to the 2021 Eastern College Athletic Conference championship, its first since 2010. In his seven years at Kean, Falloon helped produce an All-American, two conference Rookies of the Year, a Goalkeeper of the Year, one Defensive Player of the Year, four all-region performances and 22 all-conference honorees. This past year Kean went 11-2-6 as he rounded out his seventh tenure with the Cougars.

Falloon also spent nearly a decade as the head coach at Bloomfield (NJ) College, helping BC to a Central Atlantic Conference regular season league title while earning league coach of the year honors during an unbeaten campaign. The 2015 season saw the Bears claim the program’s only conference tournament title. Falloon would help produce the 2010 and 2011 conference Player of the Year, along with one All-American, seven all-region players and 21 all-conference selections.

Having an eye for talent, Falloon also served as a US Soccer Youth National Team scout. His coaching career in New Jersey also took him to the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), United Soccer League (USL) and junior college level. A native of Saint Andrew, Jamaica, Falloon would go on to collect four years of playing experience at the collegiate level before earning his bachelor’s degree from Kean.
