Tuesday’s late-night matchup between Orlando City and Tigres UANL will serve as the Lions’ fifth game in 15 days to start their 2024 campaign. By the time City completes the second leg of its Round of 16 tie with Tigres next Tuesday, March 12, the Club will have made it seven matches in 22 days.

Forward and Designated Player Facundo Torres is just two goals away from tying former Orlando City captain Nani for the second-most goals in Club history at 31 across all competitions.

Quote of the Week:

“Obviously, a new series and lot of expectations from our end. We are very optimistic at this point. Just playing Tigres will be a great opportunity for us in a cup that we are very proud to belong to and compete in. We’re good, we’re getting ready in a short time from recovering from the games, but I think we’ll be fine.”
