FC Tulsa’s Preseason Match against Union Omaha Results in a Draw

FC Tulsa to Host Three Development Camps in 2023 for 6-14 Year Olds

TULSA – A beautiful Sunday afternoon playing at the University of Tulsa against Union Omaha resulted in a draw.

The first half seemed to be a running match between the two teams but FC Tulsa held possession for most of the time.


Forward Phillip Goodrum put up a good match against the Omaha defenders as they couldn’t keep their hands off of him which resulted in multiple free kicks for FC Tulsa.

As the battle against Goodrum continued throughout the first half, Goodrum was awarded a penalty kick which he capitalized on giving FC Tulsa the lead.

The battle continued in the first half, which didn’t result in another goal for the duration of the rest of the half.

As the second half went underway Union Omaha was quick to capitalize just two minutes in.

While the game had been fierce from both sides, a red card was shown to Union Omaha at the 67th minute mark following an altercation between the two sides.
