CHESTER, Pa. – The Philadelphia Union kicked off the 2024 MLS season with a 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire FC Saturday night at Subaru Park. In the first half, Brian Gutierrez scored in the 39th minute to put Chicago in the lead. The Union responded in the 55th minute when forward Mikael Uhre put away Homegrown midfielder Quinn Sullivan’s cross. In the 82nd minute, Fabian Herbers scored to regain the lead for Chicago. In stoppage time, midfielder Daniel Gazdag put away a header from midfielder Jose Martinez to level the score.


The Union hosts Deportivo Saprissa at Subaru Park in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round One on Tuesday, February 27th (8:15 p.m. ET / FOX Sports).
