San Diego Wave FC Announces Multi-Year Partnership with AlterG

San Diego Wave FC today announced that it is expanding its relationship with Dexcom, a pioneer and leader in continuous glucose monitoring technology for people with diabetes. As part of the partnership, Dexcom becomes the Official Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Biosensing Partner of Wave FC as well as the club’s jersey sleeve partner.


“As two game-changers in San Diego, we look forward to representing Dexcom on our home and away kits,” said San Diego Wave FC President Jill Ellis. “This partnership unites two organizations dedicated to fostering innovation, instilling confidence and making a lasting impact in the vibrant community we call home.”

Through the expanded multi-year agreement, Dexcom is the presenting partner of all Wave FC corner kicks. With each corner kick, Dexcom will donate $100 to charities that drive Dexcom’s mission of empowering people to take control of their health forward. In addition, the Wave and Dexcom will host a Drills with Diabetes event, a program to inspire young athletes with diabetes in hopes of finding ways to manage their condition, even in the midst of robust training or competitive sports.

Dexcom, pioneers of the top performing continuous glucose monitor, is thrilled to be a sponsor of the top performing female athletes of the Wave FC,” said Teri Lawver, Dexcom’s EVP & Chief Commercial Officer.

The Wave is set to release the club’s first custom jersey on Tuesday, February 27.
