Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today it had released their full 2024 promotional schedule.
The promotional calendar includes all theme nights and giveaways for the 2024 home schedule. Every home game for the 2024 season comes with a specialty theme and every evening match this season will end with a fantastic fireworks show!
March 6h is our home opener against Detroit City FC, and we’re kicking off the season with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Our title sponsor for the game, Sunbelt, will be giving away Switchbacks t-shirts. April 20th we’ll be celebrating the Switchbacks 10th season with a special edition 10th season scarf courtesy of Capelli Sport.
Our annual 4th of July Extravaganza we’ll be lighting up the night, with an amazing fireworks show plus a light up bracelet. Our charity giveaway night on September 28th will feature a specialty jersey auctioned off for charity as we pair up with Diversus Health to highlight the importance of mental health. Enjoy our fan appreciation night for the final match of the season on October 12th as we take on San Antonio FC.
Some of our most popular theme nights are back again this season, as well as some new ones that are sure to become quick favorites. Suit up to save the galaxy in an epic May the Fourth night, with our glow in the dark sabers. Help us turn Weidner Field into a ‘Wave of Cyan’ on August 24th for our Cyan Night. Kit yourself out in Switchbacks gear and cheer on the team as they face off against New Mexico United.
Join us for a magical night on August 28th for our first ever Wizards and Witches night. September 7th is our Marvel Superhero Night, as we partner with Children’s Hospital. That night we’ll honor our First Responders with our 4th annual Guns ‘n’ Hoses match immediately following the Switchbacks match.
