Kansas City Current Announces Preseason Exhibition Match Schedule

KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City Current will play three exhibition matches this preseason against Florida State University, the Orlando Pride and the Houston Dash. All three matches will be played while the team is training in Bradenton, Florida.


For the third straight season, the Kansas City Current will travel to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for preseason training, along with several other NWSL teams. While there, the Current will take advantage of the quality competition in the area with three preseason exhibition matches.

First up, the Current will play Sunday, February 18 against 2023 NCAA Champion Florida State University at 12:30 p.m. CT. The next opponent will be the Orlando Pride Saturday, February 24 at 12 p.m. CT. The club will close out the preseason schedule with a match against the Houston Dash Sunday, March 3 against the Houston Dash. All three matches are closed to the public, but fans can follow along on Current social media channels for updates.

The 2024 NWSL Regular Season opens Saturday, March 16 at the world’s first stadium purpose-built for women’s soccer, CPKC Stadium. A limited number of single-game tickets for 2024 regular season matches were made available to Current Club members this week. Current Club membership allows fans the chance to have priority access to 2024 single match tickets and add their names to the wait list for future season ticket availability.
