Washington Spirit Announces Official Preseason Roster

Washington, D.C. – The Washington Spirit has released its 2024 preseason schedule, the club announced today. Ahead of its 12th season, the club will train in Chula Vista, California and Bradenton, Florida, in addition to the team’s training facility in the DMV. The Spirit will also face the Houston Dash and the Orlando Pride in preseason matches.


In southern California, the Spirit will continue training at Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center for the next week. The team will return to the DMV area on Thursday, February 8.

After two and a half weeks back home, the team will head down to Bradenton, Florida to train at IMG Academy for the remainder of preseason training camp. On Thursday, February 29, the Spirit will play the Houston Dash in a closed scrimmage at IMG Academy. Rounding out the club’s second preseason trip, Washington will head north to Orlando to face the Pride in another closed scrimmage on Friday, March 8 before heading home.

Thursday, February 29: vs Houston Dash (Bradenton, Florida)

Friday, March 8: vs Orlando Pride (Orlando, Florida)

Your favorite Washington Spirit players will once again take the field at DC’s Audi Field for every home match this season. Fans can secure their tickets to all 2024 Spirit home matches with a season membership. Available here, the season membership grants fans access to priority seating, an exclusive gift from the Spirit, access to special events throughout the season and more. This season will feature two new clubs in the NWSL, Bay FC and Utah Royals FC, and an expanded 13-match regular season home schedule. Also available are half-season plans and mini plans. Single match tickets will be available soon.
