New York City FC II Transfers Forward MD Myers to USL Championship Side Charleston Battery

New York City Football Club II Announces 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season Schedule

NEW YORK – Today New York City FC II announced that it has transferred Forward MD Myers to USL Championship side Charleston Battery for an undisclosed fee.

New York City FC drafted Myers with the 66th overall pick in the third round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and subsequently joined New York City FC II ahead of its MLS NEXT Pro season.


The Forward started every game for the ‘Boys in Blue’ scoring 19 goals and tallying five assists in 28 matches. Myers’ 19 goals earned him co-Golden Boot accolades along with being named in MLS NEXT Pro’s Best XI last season.
