Charlotte FC Forward Karol Swiderski Joins Hellas Verona on Loan

Charlotte FC to Play FC Dallas and Necaxa in Leagues Cup 2023

CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte FC today announced forward Karol Swiderski has joined Serie A side, Hellas Verona, on loan until June 30, 2024.

Hellas Verona holds an option to buy.

The loan move opens a Designated Player spot for Charlotte FC. Major League Soccer’s primary transfer window closes on April 23.


“This opportunity is in Charlotte FC’s best interest as we reconfigure our roster under a new head coach. Karol has always given his best on the pitch for us, and he was clear with his intention to pursue this opportunity. In this situation, the Club was not going to stand in his way,” said Charlotte FC General Manager Zoran Krneta. “We now have key roster-building mechanisms available to us that we can use to bolster our squad throughout the remainder of this window and during the summer transfer window.”

Swiderski featured 61 times in league play for the Crown and scored 22 goals while adding 10 assists.
