West Ham starlet Divin Mubama is a loan target for Dutch side FC Twente but the Hammers are loathe to part with the teenager with several key forwards out injured

Divin Mubama has drawn interest from Dutch side FC Twente Enschede for a loan deal this month

West Ham striker Divin Mubama has attracted interest from FC Twente Enschede.

The Dutch side, currently third in the Eredivisie, are keen to take Mubama on loan. Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday have also made enquiries but West Ham are reluctant to let the 19-year-old leave this window.

Mubama has been used from the bench by manager David Moyes who wants cover for Jarrod Bowen and Danny Ings with Michail Antonio out injured.

Mubama is also out of contract in the summer and West Ham have yet to agree new terms though talks are expected to take place next month.

West Ham allowed Callum Marshall to join West Bromwich Albion on loan last week after he signed a new contract.

Ironically, Albion had previously asked for Mubama who is understood to be open to a loan move so that he can gain more regular game time.

West Ham are continuing talks with Al Ittihad over an 18-month loan deal for Jota while an opening £15million plus add-ons offer from Lyon for Said Benrahma is falling short of the club’s valuation. Benrahma is also waiting to see what other offers come in.

Maxwel Cornet remains a target for Nottingham Forest.

West Ham talks for Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman hit an impasse over their valuation but the 19-year-old is also a late option for Brighton and Brentford.

The latter have seen their move for Bruges winger Antonio Nusa stall amid concerns over his medical.

Brentford also hold an interest in Benrahma, as do Fulham.
