As we officially approach the final week of the January transfer window, the clock is now ticking faster than ever for clubs looking to wrap up some last minute winter deals. 

After months of speculation over his future, West Ham at last agreed a deal with Manchester City for their out-of-favour midfielder Kalvin Phillips to join on loan with an option to buy. 

Following Jordan Henderson‘s sensational Saudi Arabia U-turn, reports also arose that Karim Benzema could be looking to return to Europe as well, with a move to boyhood club Lyon thought to be on the cards.

Tuesday also saw a hint from Victor Osimhen that his future has already been decided and will be acted upon in summer, with the player frequently linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea.

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag is thought to be a fan of Bayern Munich’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, with the Cameroonian regarded as an upgrade on Anthony Martial. The Red Devils are reportedly eyeing a six-month loan deal for the striker. (Football Transfers).  

Man United are also set to battle it out with Arsenal for Dutch star Joshua Zirkzee. The former Bayern Munich forward is thought to have a £34million release clause in his contract at Serie A side Bologna, although United are believed to be the only club to have held talks with the player. West Ham are in talks with Danish side Nordsjaelland over a permanent move for winger Ibrahim Osman. Just like summer signing Mohammed Kudus, the 19-year-old starlet is a product of Ghana’s ‘Right to Dream’ academy. (Sky Sports)
