CARY, N.C. – The North Carolina Courage today announces its preseason training camp ahead of the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League season. The camp includes a week at IMG Academy in Florida and pair of closed-door scrimmages with fellow NWSL clubs in the Sunshine State.
Preseason will officially begin with team orientation at WakeMed Soccer Park on Monday, January 29. The team will train in town for a week before heading to Florida for a nine-day training camp beginning February 6.
The team will train at IMG Academy for the first week, leading up to a closed-door scrimmage with the Chicago Red Stars. The team will then travel to Orlando for the remainder of the trip, culminating with a closed-door scrimmage with the Orlando Pride.
The Courage will return to North Carolina on February 15 for the rest of the preseason to prepare for the NWSL regular season, which will begin the weekend of March 16.
