San Antonio FC Brings Back Cristian Parano for 2023 Season

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC has transferred goalkeeper Jordan Farr to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of USL Championship in exchange for an undisclosed fee, pending league and federation approval, the club announced today. Per team policy, terms of the transfer were not made public.


Farr played in 28 matches in his third season with SAFC in 2023, posting 59 saves and eight shutouts. The 2022 USL Championship Goalkeeper of the Year, Farr tied the league’s single-season shutout record on the way to SAFC securing its first USL Championship title. In his time with the club, he recorded 26 clean sheets and 150 saves in 65 total matches, averaging a 72.9% save percentage.

San Antonio FC is currently preparing for training camp prior to kicking off the 2024 USL Championship season at home, hosting Loudoun United FC on Saturday, March 9.
