FC Cincinnati Announce Roster for 2023 Preseason

FC Cincinnati arrived today in Clearwater, Fla. to continue their preparation for the 2024 season. The team will train for nearly a month in the Sunshine State, playing four closed-door matches as part of a 31-day stretch leading into the club’s season opener in the Concacaf Champions Cup at Cavalier FC in Kingston, Jamaica on Thursday, Feb. 22. The team departed for Florida after training in Cincinnati for the last week.


FC Cincinnati will travel 29 players to Clearwater. The full traveling party is listed below:

Goalkeepers (5): Roman Celentano, Alec Kann, Hunter Morse^^, Evan Louro, Paul Walters

Defenders (12): London Aghedo, Álvaro Barreal*, Nico Benalcazar^^, Isaiah Foster, Nick Hagglund, Bret Halsey, Kipp Keller, Matt Miazga, Ian Murphy, Alvas Powell, Miles Robinson, Brian Schaefer^

Midfielders (7): Luciano Acosta, Marco Angulo, Stiven Jimenez, Yuya Kubo, Obinna Nwobodo, Malik Pinto, Gerardo Valenzuela

Forwards (5): Corey Baird, Aaron Boupendza, Kenji Mboma Dem^, Arquimides Ordoñez, Sergio Santos

* – Will join the team in Clearwater after resolving an immigration issue

FC Cincinnati will travel from Clearwater to Kingston, Jamaica for the first leg of a Round One Concacaf Champions Cup tilt against Cavalier FC. The full preseason schedule is listed below.
