Matthijs de Ligt could find himself on the way out of Bayern Munich in the summer due to an estranged relationship with Thomas Tuchel, according to reports.
The defender is vital to the club’s current predicament, with Kim Min-jae away at the Asian Cup with South Korea, meaning the 24-year-old is one of the current starting defenders, partnering Dayot Upamecano.
He has, however, found himself out the team more often than he would like in recent months, with Tuchel preferring to play Min-jae and Upamecano together in the centre of defence.
De Light has played 55 games since joining Bayern for £68million from Juventus in 2022, but limited game time could contribute to his departure.
According to BILD, a summer exit is possible for the defender due to issues between him and his manager, with Manchester United interested in his services.

Additionally, Eric Dier arrived from Tottenham this month for a minimum fee, providing another option for Tuchel at the back.
It was also reported in September that de Ligt stormed out of the ground without speaking to anyone following his side’s Champions League win against Manchester United.
