TUCSON – Arizona goalkeeper Hope Hisey became the second Wildcat in program history to be drafted on Friday. She was selected in the fourth round as the 46th pick by the Kansas City Current.

Hisey leaves Arizona as the program’s record holder in career saves with 366, and that number ranks seventh all-time in the Pac-12. Her 24 career shutouts rank second in program history.
The Tucson, Ariz., native was named to the 2022 All-Pac-12 Third Team and was named the 2023 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year after completing her undergraduate degree with a 4.0 GPA and maintaining a 4.0 GPA in her graduate program.
