TACOMA, WA. – What a game it was for the Tacoma Stars last Saturday when they topped visiting Utica City FC by a 10-7 final, and reaching the score sheet on seven of those Stars’ goals, Nick Perera was named the MASL Week 7 Offensive Player of the Week. It was the first weekly honor for the reigning League MVP, Scoring Champion, and Pass Master.
Perera finished with three goals and four assists in the game, including a short-handed goal and the game-winner for Tacoma. His efforts placed him at the top of the list in the MASL in points (22), assists (14), and points per game (3.7).
The Stars are in action at home Saturday against the San Diego Sockers at 7:05 pm. Doors at the accesso ShoWare Center open at 6 pm and for tickets head to www.tacomastars.showare.com today!
