Jeremy Kelly Signs with FC Tulsa Ahead of the 2024 USL Championship Season

FC Tulsa to Host Three Development Camps in 2023 for 6-14 Year Olds

TULSA – Jeremy Kelly, talented Prague native, signs to FC Tulsa after two successful seasons with Memphis 901 FC.

“I’m excited to join FC Tulsa and get to know the Tulsa community. FC Tulsa has made a commitment to being one of the best teams in the league and I look forward to pushing myself to make that happen.” Kelly said, “I can’t wait to play at ONEOK Field and give our fans an entertaining 90 minutes.”


Kelly was selected 9th overall by the Montreal Impact in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. Since then, Kelly has made a name for himself, showcasing his skills and prowess on the pitch.

“Jeremy is a special talent who can make our playing style come to life.” Head Coach Blair Gavin said, “His intelligence on both sides of the ball plus his qualities to eliminate defenders will help us put more pressure on opponents and win games.”

Transitioning to the USL Championship proved to be a pivotal moment in Kelly’s career. In 2022, upon joining Memphis 901 FC, he displayed an extraordinary performance by scoring an impressive 8 goals throughout the season. However, Kelly’s contribution was not limited to goal-scoring; he also emerged as a key playmaker by securing 10 assists, tying for first place within his club.

Kelly’s dedication and commitment were further evident in his playing time, having 36 appearances, with an impressive 35 starts for Memphis 901 FC. This translated into having spent a substantial 2,967 minutes on the field during the 2022 season.

As the 2023 season unfolded, Kelly continued to make his mark. He managed to secure 3 goals in 34 appearances, matching the number of starts, further solidifying his reputation as a consistent and impactful player.

During his two seasons with Memphis 901 FC, Kelly found himself having multiple USL Player of the Month and Player of the Week nominations.

Previous to his time with the USL, Kelly played four seasons with NCAA Division 1 University of North Carolina as part of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Kelly tied for most points among Carolina freshmen in 2016 and ultimately was a key of UNC’s midfield that helped his team secure back-to-back NCAA Men’s College Cups.
