Soccer Adds Transfer Hailey Chambliss


COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Soccer has signed forward Hailey Chambliss, a transfer from Missouri State, head coach Stefanie Golan announced on Wednesday.

Chambliss spent two seasons with the Lady Bears where was named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and was named to the All-MVC First Team and All-MVC Freshman Team after scoring 13 goals and seven assists in her inaugural collegiate campaign.

The Saint Louis, Missouri native broke the Missouri State record for game-winning goals in a single season with five.

Chambliss was ranked 42nd in Top Drawer Soccer’s Freshman leaderboard. In addition, the forward was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Team, the 2022 MVC All-Tournament team and the 2023 Preseason First Team All-MVC.

The Tigers’ newcomer played her prep career at Eureka High School where she was a two-time all-conference performer and led the the Wildcats in scoring as a junior.

A Missouri legacy athlete, Chambliss’ father John was a member of Mizzou’s baseball team from 1992-93. Her mother, Gina, played softball at Saint Louis.

Additionally, her brother Tyler was a baseball player for Quincy University while Hannah played softball for Drury and Basker University.

Chambliss has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
