December 14, 2023 – United Soccer League One (USL1) – Forward Madison FC News Release
MADISON, WI: Forward Madison FC has released its 2024 USL League One schedule, with its first home match scheduled for April 13th. This will be the club’s sixth season led by third-year Head Coach Matt Glaeser. Eleven players have been announced to play for the Pink and Blue, ten of whom are returners from last season’s team that finished in sixth place and reached the playoffs for the first time since 2019.
The season features 15 regular-season home games in 2024, including the debut of the USL League One cup competition. This in-season tournament will consist of three four-team groups, each playing eight cup matches. The winner of each group, plus the team with the most goals scored, will advance to the knockout round.
Additional friendlies during the season will be announced in the future.
The Mingos begin their 2024 run on March 16th with three straight road matches against South Georgia Tormenta FC, Greenville Triumph SC, and Central Valley Fuego FC. The squad plays their first home match at historic Breese Stevens Field against Henny Derby rivals, Richmond Kickers, on Saturday, April 13.

Forward Madison travel to play League newcomers, Spokane Velocity, on Sunday, May 19th.
The first in-season cup matchup for Forward Madison on Sunday, April 28th at Lexington SC.
The Mingos welcome rivals, Union Omaha, to Madison on June 20th and August 29th.
A rematch against Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, who eliminated FMFC in the playoffs last season, to end the 2024 regular season on October 26th.
